Parenting a child with unique needs comes with challenges, but you don’t have to navigate these alone. I’m Sharona, mum to a SEN child, and I created Thrive Creations to support parents like you and me.

My husband, Anthony, and I are proud parents of twins, Alyssa and Devan. With a background in special needs education, I recognised early on that Devan was likely on the path to an ADHD diagnosis. When my family moved from South Africa to the UK, I quickly realised how different the medical support system was. I wished I had been tracking Devan’s meltdowns, sleep patterns, and moods from the start, as I struggled to recall key details that could have helped him get the right support sooner. That experience made me realise just how valuable it is to have a dedicated space to document these moments — because understanding our children’s needs is the first step toward helping them thrive.

Though Devan is now five, I believe it’s never too late to start tracking patterns, identifying triggers, and creating strategies that truly support our children. That’s why I created Don’t Just Survive: Thrive — a journal designed to help SEN parents feel more organised, prepared, and empowered.
Thrive Creations is more than just a brand; it’s a passion project built from my own journey as a SEN mum. Every product is thoughtfully designed to provide the structure, support, and self-care we all need. I’m so excited to share these resources with you, and I hope they help you feel more in control, capable, and ready to thrive.
All My Love
