Welcome to Thrive Creations! We’re Sharona and Sophie - two mums, two friends, and two women navigating the world of parenting children with unique needs. Our journey began in 2023 when our kids started school together, each with their own bright personalities and challenges. We connected instantly, finding a shared space to talk, laugh, and sometimes vent about the joys and frustrations of raising SEN (Special Educational Needs) children. Over time, our friendship has grown into a partnership — and now, into this brand.

Sharona has twins, Alyssa and Devan. Her background in special needs education gave her insight early on that Devan was on the path to an ADHD diagnosis. When she and her family moved to the UK from South Africa, she realized the medical support system was quite different, and she wished she had been tracking Devan's meltdowns, sleep patterns, and moods from the start. This experience highlighted the importance of having a dedicated space to document these crucial aspects of life. Though Devan is now 5 years old, she believes it’s never too late to start tracking triggers and experiences to better support him and other SEN families.

Sophie, the face of Bonded by Babies on Instagram, shares a similar story. When her daughter Callie was diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum, she began using her popular social media account (which has since become a thriving community of over 30k followers) to spread awareness, share her insights, and document her family’s journey. Her openness and dedication to the SEN community have been inspiring to many, and she brings this same heart and passion to Thrive Creations.

Together, we’re excited to share this journal with you. It started as Sharona's personal project, but with Sophie’s insight, we’ve turned it into something more refined — a tool built from the heart, designed by two SEN mums who truly understand the importance of organisation, support, and self-care. We believe this journal will be a game-changer for families, empowering you to feel prepared, capable, and ready to thrive.
